The Morellos is a violin, guitar and double bass trio that recreates the sounds of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in the 'Hot Club' style of the late 1930's.  In a rich melodic fusion of Parisian Swing, Latin American rhythms and mainstream jazz The Morellos provide a vibrant, accessible and enjoyable option for concert promoters.

Since their formation some ten years ago The Morellos has performed at a huge variety of events and venues and gained a considerable reputation for their professionalism and reliability.  

The Morellos can perform as an acoustic ensemble and even operate as a walk-about trio mingling with guests in a café-style promotion, allowing large groups to benefit fully from their entertaining music.  Equally, the trio can perform with amplification and with just three players will comfortably occupy even the largest performance space.
