Clare and Emma first met as they pursued their post-graduate studies at the Royal College of Music.  They made their debut together at the British Embassy in Paris as part of a chamber ensemble, and subsequently went on to form the Arianna Duo.

Since then, the duo has played the length and breadth of the UK, entertaining audiences with their delightful performances and informal stage presence.  In addition to well-known and familiar pieces, the duo explores a more diverse repertoire that includes works by Bax, Debussy, Rota and Alwyn.

The duo also expands with the addition of a viola to form The Poulenc Trio, to enable performances of the wonderful Debussy Trio as part of their programmes.

Recitals are always introduced by the performers to create an enjoyable atmosphere and to help build a close rapport with their audiences.  This is a perfect choice for an entertaining evening of beautiful music.
